This module covers new features introduced in PicoScope 6.9.9.1 beta, with a focus on practical tools relevant to automotive diagnostics.
Key topics include:
- Duty cycle math channels: how to set up graphical duty cycle tracking over a capture period, verify results with measurements and rulers, and measure negative duty cycle
- The online waveform database: logging in, searching by vehicle parameters, uploading your own captures, and loading database waveforms as reference waveforms in PicoScope
- File saving best practices, including the default "save and share" setting to be aware of, and how filled-in vehicle details affect the default file name
- Math channel filter functions (low pass, high pass, bandpass) as an alternative to channel-level filtering, and how filtering a source channel affects math channels derived from it
- Buffered math channel functions, which allow minimum/maximum tracking across all buffers collected during a session, including buffers that have scrolled out of the capture window
- Updates to the serial decoding dialogue, including new display and formatting options for CAN decoding
