Hello Beast,

First off:
I don't think there is Pico software that will work with the Verus operating system.

other things to check on / think about would be the available RAM, screen resolution, can the Verus run the scanner & Pico at the same time, and if the verus has to go back for repairs your ability to run Pico just got sent back too.

As far as I know, the Verus, as a PC, has pretty minimal resources and would not be able to run a PicoScope to it's potential.  You will need a real PC.  I would recommend Windows 7 Pro, but if you get a Windows 8 make sure it is NOT RT.

I wouldn't even think about it.
My laptop was $300 new from best buy. It runs Pico great. I wouldn't bother to try it on the Verus. That way you can use both the scope and scanner at the same time.

Agreed X2

I'm running my picoscope on a $450 Acer with windows 7 and it works great.

Like you, I made the switch from a Verus scope to a Pico a couple years ago.  I think you will be very happy with the upgrade.  It takes your scope diagnostics to a whole new level. Smiley
