O2 Sensor-Why so much noise?
Feb 26th, 2012 at 4:01pm

This is a scan of the B1S1 sensor on a 2000 Mustang GT.  Why is there so much noise and why did I have to set the scale to 2 seconds.  I had to back probe the signal wire and my ground was on the chasis.

I'm assuming since you posted this on the test board that you were just practicing posting and attaching an image.

If you want answers to these questions, please post for real in the PicoScope help board.  Please also include the data file for one screen so we can see your settings.

Always place the scope ground on Bat neg where possible.

Hint on opening files...If your scope is not attached to the PC, first open PicoScope, then say yes to demo.  Then use file open from the PicoScope menu to brows to the file to open.  The your settings fields will not be blank.  Best also to re-size images to 1024 x 768 or smaller before attaching them.
