Posting errors...
Nov 23rd, 2007 at 9:35pm

This might be a problem on my end with my security settings but...

Anyone else have problems when trying to preview or even sometimes go straight to the post button?

I get an error screen and all my typing is lost. So now I write my message in notepad.exe and then copy and paste.

I have Windows LiveOneCare... with anti-phishing filter, POP-UP blocker... as well as virus slayer and Spyware wacker. I had a similar problem and recently shut off the phishing filter and the pop-up blocker. Now the problem went away. I think there was too much security.

Yes, Jim.  That happens sometimes.  We have some bugs to work out of the new forums but that was here before we upgraded.  I think it is a server issue, which no one seems to be able to run down.

To avoid frustration, tick the box:

"Check this if you want the message auto-copied to your clipboard before Post or Preview."

That way, if it doesn't take, you can just paste it back in (ctrl V) and try again.  This way some fist pounding can be avoided  Tongue
