Is this the tool you use or have you used it? Yes it does compensate for baro.
  I suspect the ve calculator you speak of is one you enter your info  from your scan tool pids into and press calculate. I use those as well  but you will find those and the tool we were speaking of won't always agree either.

    I don't have enough confidence in the tool at this point to take what the ve and cat eff tests tell me as the absolute truth at this point but as I said I use it in hopes of establishing some sort of a database as to when it's right and when it's wrong.
