Hi everyone, I'm new to the group and fairly new to Pico scopes. The school where I work has a few 3423 automotive kits and I am running version 6.10.11 software. 

I am attempting to capture EVAP monitors in action to teach system operation in class. I can't seem to get enough recording time to catch the entire monitor at a high enough level of detail when zoomed in.

My question is, is there a way to determine, in advance, the maximum recording time for a specific time base and sample rate? Other than set-up the scope and let it run until the buffer is full and calculate total time.

I am currently sampling @300Kbs, 10,000 waveforms, 1 sec/division, which provides me 84 waveforms or 14 minutes of recording. If I push the time base to 5 seconds/division, then the detail in the waveform is insufficient for our purposes when zoomed in.
