This class is about analyzing your scope, or any scope you may be considering adding to your diagnostic arsenal. This class is recommended for the beginning scope user, or seasoned scope jockey. Understanding your scope is an essential part of using it for diagnostics. To be able to trust what your scope is showing you, you must become familiar with the capabilities and limitations of your chosen instrument. You must learn where the boundaries are because, when you push your scope beyond those boundaries, the results are unreliable. We will explore some common scope limitations and ways to discover your scope’s limits. You will be taken deeper into scope operation principles than you are accustomed to, increasing your understanding and effectiveness.

There is a lot of hype and disinformation out there today regarding scopes and their capabilities. This class will help you sort and filter the available information so you will be enabled to objectively analyze any scope’s performance and make an informed choice. You will be inoculated against sales pitch doublespeak and empowered to analyze a scope based on basic math and objective criteria. This class will better equip you to chose a new instrument or make more effective use of what you have.

Bring your favorite scope with you and explore it with us.

This is a free class open to anyone.

A $20 donation toward food and refreshments would be appreciated.

This class will be held at our training facility here in Olympia. WA.

Here is a map from the Guest House Inn which is just off I-5 Exit 101.  For those of you from out of the area, this is a great place to stay.  You can call the Guesthouse Inn at 360-943-5040 for reservations.
