I'm trying to upload imaged but my compact flash card loads them to my computer as a .lss format.  I keep getting error messages that this is not an accepted format.  Is there anyway I can change it to an accepted format?

I'm taking images from our MODIS and loading them onto a compactflash card, then using a card reader to put them on the computer. If that matters.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Erick,

The Modis .lss is Lab Scope Screen.  It's not an image format.  We could enable the Modis data file uploads but only Modis users could make use of them.  Enable your Modis contrast button to save screen shots as a .bmp.  Then you can import them into your PC and open them in an image editing program and convert to a smaller format like .gif and upload them here.  .bmp is an image format, although we do not have that format enabled because it make for very large file sizes.
