I am interested in the First Look diagnostic pulse sensor for looking at injector pulses, but I would like to know how to hook it up to the newer systems that do not have a vacuum operated regulator on the fuel rail [or damper].  Has any one made an adapter to hook up to the pressure test port for it?
I could not find any previous post on this in the archives. Any insite would be greatly appreciated!
     Thanks, Tim

Hi Tim,

That FirstLook sensor is not designed to come in contact with fuels.  I wouldn't try to make an adapter for it.  I think Senx is working on a model that will adapt to the fuel rail, but I have not seen it.

Of course, it has many other applications.  Anything you can think of that might be useful to see pulses on.  Everything from crankase blowby, to exhaust pulses, to intake pulses etc....
