How to remove Pico scope
Mar 27th, 2004 at 1:53pm

After updating my Pico scope I discovered I now have both the old and new versions on my hard drive. I'm running XP, and Pico scope is not on the list when I go to "remove programs". Not being as good with a computer as most i'm hoping for some direction here. By the way, both Pic scopes do work!

Hi Karl,

Not really an Autonerdz site issue  Tongue but in your programs list under Pico Technilogy, you should have an uninstall option.  Make sure all your saved captures are in a safe location and not in one of the PicoScope installed folders that might be removed.  This may be linked to the most recent installation.

You have the programs in different directories.  The uninstall program is located in the directory where the installation went.  It's called premove.exe.  I would remove both installations, using the install program in each directory, then do a clean install of the version you wish to use.

Again, be sure to back up your captures you want to keep, just to be safe.
