Not your average training conference. In fact, not even close.

NerdzCon 2026

The Countdown Has Begun...
Grab your ticket now. Space is limited.

NerdzCon is one day a year, and we cap attendance on purpose. Every attendee gets the full experience: one-on-one conversations with Pico Pros and other techs, hands-on scoping time, and powerful connections.

The smaller format isn't just about quality—it's what makes NerdzCon comfortable for first-time presenters. If you've never shared something in front of a room before, this is a good place to start.

Your registration gets you access to the whole day, including lunch and time with a room full of people who will gladly look over a capture with you.

When seats are gone, they're gone. Hit the button below to reserve your seat before it's too late.

What Is NerdzCon?

NerdzCon is not a training conference.

The idea for NerdzCon came from events like Comic Con, where people with a shared interest get together to celebrate their obsession, meet each other, and swap what they know. Swap the comic books with PicoScopes and you get the idea.

This is a one day per-year event with the Autonerdz community, PicoScope users, and a few invited guests. There's a schedule and expert presentations (not unlike at a Comic Con), but don't expect a lecture-style snooze fest. Like with all Autonerdz training, NerdzCon is hands-on, built around the attendees, and features real-world scenarios that help scope users at any level.

What Makes NerdzCon Different?

NerdzCon isn't just an event you attend. It's something you help create.

Bring something with you. A waveform. A test. A unique diagnosis. A shortcut you discovered. A question you want to see answered. The day is built around what you want to see and share, true to the heart of the Autonerdz community.

Everyone brings something unique to the table. That's what makes this event worth showing up for. Everyone leaves NerdzCon with something new they can put into practice in the shop. Not to mention some seriously useful connections with fellow scope-users who will gladly check out the waveform that has you scratching your head.

Expert Presentations

Live presentations from experts with real shop experience. Not a lecture. A conversation.

Real Case Studies

Actual cars from actual shop floors—not hypothetical scenarios. See what worked, what didn't, what techs discovered, and ask questions in real time.

Live Demonstrations

Scopes will be on and running in the room, gathering real data, prompting real conversation.

Hands-On Experience

Get off the sidelines and get scoping. This is not an event to sit and listen—it's a chance to get your hands dirty and try something new.

Genuine Connections

The conversations in-between events are half the value. We structure the day so you'll have time to make lasting connections with fellow techs who will help you next time you're scoping on the shop floor.

Got Questions?

Don't see the answer you're looking for? Contact the team directly to start a conversation.
Do I need to bring a PicoScope?

You can bring one if you've got one, but it is not a requirement. We'll have demo equipment around all day.

Is this event for beginners?

This event is for every tech at every level. Whether you've never touched an oscilloscope or you're scoping cars every day, you'll find something new to take back to the shop.

Do I need to present something?

Not at all. We'll bring in automotive and PicoScope experts to present shortcuts, best practices, and more. If you're an expert with something to share, reach out and let us know. We'll see if we have a spot for you.

If you're a tech who uses a PicoScope—whether once in a while or day-to-day—we encourage you to bring in your toughest readouts. We'll look at the waveforms together and see what we can learn.

Are only NerdzGroup members eligible to attend?

NerdzCon is open to all PicoScope users—not just NerdzGroup members. That said, NerdzGroup members make up most of the room, so you just might recognize a few faces.

Not a member yet? Check out our Training & Support Memberships to learn more about how to join the Autonerdz community.

What do I need to bring?

Bring a laptop, your scope if you have one, and any captures you'd like a second pair of eyes on. We'll work through real case studies throughout the day—yours might just be one of them. If you're newer to oscilloscope work, don't sweat it — we'll have demo equipment around all day and plenty of techs nearby who are happy to walk you through it.

I have an interesting vehicle. Can I bring it?

Absolutely—bring it along, space permitting. Message the team ahead of time to let us know what you've got. Some of the best moments at past NerdzCons have started with an interesting vehicle in the bay.

Where is it, and where should I stay?

Techs travel from across North America to attend NerdzCon every year. NerdzCon will be held in a shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Hotel and lodging information is available for those who need it. Reach out directly to learn more.

What if I need to cancel?

Life happens. Reach out to the team directly, and we'll work with you. A full cancellation policy is available upon request.

Are there discounts for multiple techs from the same shop?

At this time, we don't offer a bulk purchase discount. NerdzCon is intended to be a small event, so that every attendee can be fully engaged in the process. To request a PicoScope class at your shop location or in your city, contact the team.
