During a recent call with the repair department at Pico I was informed that they have been seeing a rash of Picoscopes being sent in with damaged USB ports. This issue seems to stem from the use of low quality cables purchased from popular online retailers.

For the safety of your equipment make sure you are using a genuine Pico USB cable with your equipment.

Damage caused by the use of an aftermarket USB cable is not covered under warranty.
