PC for PICO scope

I'm about to build a new PC for the workshop.
It main duties will be for internet for our data subscriptions and being paired with a Cardaq-m and Pico scope.

What hardware is better suited to the Pico?
Are there advantages in more ram? speed of the ram? SSD hard drive?

Is there anything that should be avoided?

Brad,

We recommend a 2GHz processor or equivalent.  2 gigs of RAM minimum 4 preferred..  Now with the 4425, you will also want to look for USB 3.0 for future enhancements.

The rest is personal preference.  XP to 8.1 is OK.  I choose 7 pro.  DO NOT get 8 RT.

I got a laptop with a SSD not long ago.  Everything is so much faster.  Not necessary though.  Boots up in about 20 seconds though.   Cool
