This may seem a silly question, but I still have my old ADC212 Pico alongside my shiny new 4 channel. It runs off a parallel port connector, plus its own separate 12v supply.
I would like to lend it to a young lad who is interested in scope work, but his laptop only has usb type ports. Can anyone suggest either a direct usb to Pico lead or an adaptor lead that will work ?

Jon,

The old Pico USB adapters were discontinued years ago.  Might be some used ones out there somewhere.

There have been some who have used PCM/CIA cards but that was a long time ago and I don't know which ones would work now.

Ooops - looks like I should have sorted this out a while back.Never occurred to me at the time that it would be a problem, seems a shame that its stuck with being used on an old laptop.I'll keep looking and asking.
Thank you for your reply Tom. If anyone has a lead they want to sell please contact me.

Jon,

The other issue with the Pico USB adapter is that there will never be any 64 bit drivers for it so the PC has to be a 32 bit machine.
