Time on the screen.
Nov 7th, 2014 at 12:45pm

I was trying to get a steady shot of several things these last few days including secondaries from a COP (with the WYE) and injector ramps on a Toyota with a misfire. I could not get the injectors to remain until I increased the time on the screen; I couldn't watch the singles but when I had six events or so on the screen they remained steady and then all I have to do is zoom in on the ramp in order to compare...is that normal? Would I be able to have just enough time on the screen to see a single injector firing event, must I see it repeated several times before it is a stable image?

Use trigger at faster time bases to stabilize.

Thanks Tom. I was trying to set the trigger and did not know I could do that... That is the answer to my question Busjockey.

Hi fisher,

In case you haven't seen it, here is a fairly good link:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81AGbZcgCZs

Not quite Picogroup material, but a good start.   Wink
