Posting scan data
Mar 13th, 2014 at 8:50am

I need advice on posting some scan data from Shop Stream Connect. I have noticed other members posting scan data and their file types are .scm files and work fine. I'm trying to post scan data from a Verus Pro and my file types are PIDS. I have attached one. It will open but ... Do I need to try to change the file type? My SSC version is 9.3.0.15 US.

I don,t have any problems getting the files transferd from verus to laptop via a thumbdrive. Its just posting them and being able to read them. Thanks -mike

Mike,

Obviously, we have the pids file extension enabled for you to attach the files.

Not sure I understand the question but clicking on the file just opens it in a text format display in your browser.  To open the file, you would need to RIGHT click, then 'save target as'.  Then, once the file is on the PC you can open it with the application.

No worries.  Glad you asked.  That's a common issue for many file types and now everyone knows....
