Actually i needed it for this 95 Subaru Legacy we discussed in Therapy last time.

Looked it up on the Snappy site and the description for a K-20 is BMW S-28 OBD Personality Key. After checking with my resources at Snap-On that description on the site is incorrect.

Don't remember which ones but some I didn't have and maybe one I did since I now have two K-19s. No K-20 tho.

Tom - theres three on ebay right now - have seen them go for around 20-30 bucks. Heres a link

I dont know if you do ebay but they have buyer protection -so you wont ever get ripped off. I only had to use the protection once but they were responsive and fast.

Just go in and type in snap on k20 key. There one listing ending in three hours. Its best to bid at the last minute. (im a ebay bid sniper) Grin

Hope this helps. They have a sh**load of personality keys on there for reasonable prices.

K20 and K2 will interchange for the most part pre CAN. I am not sure you missed much though early Subaru appears to be generic but not labeled generic with a Snap On scanner. I think the newer software indicates only the K20 key and not the K2. Sam
