IOD test

generally I use my Vantage Pro to do an IOD (ignition off draw) test although it too can use
the low amp probe the Vantage Pro dose allow for ruining the test through its internal
amp circuit and that's what I use being old school, In learning the my new Pico I decided to use
the Low amp probe with the Pico as it id less intrusive , The IOD  test specks
for this 2009 PT Cruiser is .030 ma or less , The Vantage Pro had it at .020 ma, The
Pico low amp probe has it at about 1/4 of an amp if I read the scope correctly, Low amp probe was set
to 100 mv Per Amp ,The  A probe was battery voltage and B was the low amp probe , Went from
door open key on to key off door closed and watched the IOD drop as various modules went to sleep
