I run both Version 5 & 6 on a three year old Compaq V2000 laptop with no problems. 2 gigs of ram helps the AMD processor. Smiley
I would think that the laptops out there these days would have no problem running both programs    Cool

Pico 5 and 6 versions live and play well together on the same PC.  You just can only use one at a time to access the hardware.  If you do this, try to keep them both updated.

The PC requirements for Pico 6 we recommend are:

Windows XP or Vista 32bit
GHz range processor
1 gig of ram for XP and 2 gigs for Vista
USB 2.0
