Hi all,
My name is Ed Crowe, living in Ipswich, Suffolk, UK.

I am just an amateur auto-tech, but (was) a professional electronics engineer in (mostly) communications systems (hardware and software developments).

I only pick and choose to maintain cars with interesting problems, for family and friends.
 
The family cars are:
1993 Rover 820
1994 Rover 827 Sterling (ongoing emission problem with this!)
1999 Ford Fiesta

I also have a classic in the garage: a 1970 Jag E-type convertible (not driven for a few years due to heavy clutch and dodgy knee).  Not a lot of electronics there.

The Fiesta is my son's.  He works for a company that makes CAN-bus diagnostic analysers for independent repair shops.
