My name is Russell Carrigan. I am an ASE Master Tech with L1. I have been a tech for 15 years 8 of those as a drivability/line tech, 2 as service advisor (please dont judge me) and the last 5 as an instructor at a technical school. Needless to say a lot has changed in the last 7 years. I can attest to the fact that if you really want to learn somthing inside and out try teaching it to someone else. I knew alot when I started teaching but now I UNDERSTAND what I thought I knew and knowing and understanding are not the same thing! Because we primarily stick to basic principles and theories this site among others helps keep me up to date with what is going on out there in the "real" world. I would like to commend Tom for making his work and knowledge available to us all!
