Although my location is marked on the map there is always this "news" message when entering the forum asking to put the location pin. Is this normal?

This has caused me to learn something new.

The news tab is manually curated by us. Apparently that message is one that was put up years and years ago and just never changed.  Now that I know about it perhaps we can put it to better use.
