New member introducing himself

Hello friends, I'm a new member fairly new to picoscope and the accessories, so please go easy on me. I have been in the motor trade in the UK since leaving school over 30 years ago.

When I started in the trade I served my time through HGV's and then moved into light vehicles, cars etc. In the 1980's I started studying auto-electrics and completed an electronics course in motor vehicle studies, referred to as electronics and microprocessors. The course was very advanced for its time as all our cars back in that time were still using points, condensors and carburettors. Now all vehicles are fully electronically controlled and to be honest in the UK since privatization getting up to date quality training on modern systems has been somewhat difficult.

I did complete a 14 months course at college last year was the final year, I really hoped I'd gain some good up to date information and experience, however that turned out not really having the expertise in it that I was looking for.

I do feel in these areas of expertise that I have been left behind and need bringing up to date with modern test ideas etc.

So the equipment list, its vast and I won't be able to list all, but I have a pico 4 channel scope kit on the lines of the top kit Pico sell, along with the latest software, I have the WPS500x, the Mixmaster and about half a dozen snap on scanners and scopes.

Sorry forgot to say that I also own the Pico NVH kit and could not do without it now.

Thanks for reading

PicoDavid
