Hi Tom, I found one at a garage sale for 50 bucks, the lady didn't even know what it was.  It didn't turn on and I took a chance on it.  You were right about the battery, it was damaged from heat.  I gave it to a buddy of mine who is good at electronics.  He changed the battery, repaired the circuit board and calibrated it for me. I have not tried it out yet because all I got was the transducer. No case adapters or hoses, I guess I can't complain about it. Kiss

Hey guys I understand your concern with price believe me I do.  I looked around myself at different options but when it comes down to it the wps 500 is the best Transducer you can get your hands on and Tom and Brian have a variety of options to work with your needs.  I myself was impatient when I wanted mine, lol.  But I just took the extra time to save the money and buy what I wanted.   Just save up and get a kit from Tom and Brian, Wink  You won't be sorry, I'm not, love my master kit. Buskockey, I totally agree with you about the WPS500 being the best in the market. When I saw the WPS500 at a garage sale, I figured that I could use it as spare parts.  I am still saving up for the master kit (from Tom and Brian Wink) myself and then I will have an extra transducer to fill up the blank spot in the case. Bought a transducer so no longer looking for one. I do need to start uploading known goods of waveforms when I get the time.

I need one also and a couple of things I probably should also post this on tools and equipment but besides doing like compression check and maybe a vacuum check along with plugged exhaust check, what other things is this pressure transducer good to use for on the Pico? I really need to get one someday and as you mention Tom might be willing to work something out for me so if you can let me know Tom. Thanks, Doug

You can use it to check fuel pressure on gas and diesel engines and you can use it on air conditioning systems.  Also you can use it to check transmission fluid pressure.  It's worth the dough, BUY IT. Wink Smiley
