Here is my Mobile Pico Set up I made....  Got the idea from visiting my girlfriend at work... She works at a hospital...

I Put a Router in at my Internet Access point and also a Wireless Hub so I can Print from the car...

The dual monitors was the way to go for me so I would be able to see the Pico Screen anywhere, plus it gave me the chance to have Mitchell or AllData open on the Lap Top...

Here is my contribution to the thread of ways to place your Pico.  Smiley

1. The modified Bosch test wagon, to move around easily.
2. When not in use, with nightcab on.
3. Sideview.

Hehe, my wife…. no I wish.  Grin

She had been a part of the garage since I began as self-employed mechanic in 1986. The calendar picture state/says 1985, but no name on it.

This is my cart I built. Forgive the picture quality. I incorporated vertical slots in the rear (rubber weatherstrip lined) so that cables can pass through easily. Several holes where I can attach S-hooks. Looks bare as I only pull out the laptop, pico, attachments, scanners, etc. when I need them.

Also wanted to show the back on my Pico. I added one of those stick on wall hangers you can find at most stores. I hang a S-hook under the hood and then hang the Pico off it. Works great, keeps it out of my way and away from engine heat and accessories.

Last pic shows my scanner drawer (Pico and it's accessories are stored in different drawer) of my toolbox. Main laptop for Pico is stored in that hard black case. Another good tip, save cases from any items you get. That case came from a Snap On MicroVat, is foam lined and holds a laptop and some accessories (power cord, etc.) nicely. (iATN members can see a post on that at http://members.iatn.net/forums/read/msg.aspx?f=forum8&m=85553&fv=3&page=1 ). 2 other laptops in that drawer, along with IDS, Mentor, Mastertech, etc. A lot squeezed into that single drawer.

Thought I would post some pics of my set up.
It's a custom made cabinet I got build  by a boilermaker in return for servicing/repairing his car.

It houses my gas analyzer, pico equipment and wifi internet connection so it can be used any where in my workshop.
The speakers on the side are so I can hear the soothing, dulcet tones of Tom Jones er Roberts on nerdz cd  Grin

Nice Setup Brad.
What's the CODA box up the back?
Your Smoke Pro have a dipstick in the top or the little bung hole?

It's near your shelves up the back. I zoomed in, my mistake. It looked like a CODA sticker at first look.

You are one observant man Rod  Wink
That case on the floor is my Hanatech scantool. It lost its place when the G-Scan came along.

I got something a bit different, I gutted an old silly-scope and then broke the hinges off a laptop and stuck it inside the box

Most of the time I use my toughbook in tablet mode, the pico is inside a pouch wrapped in foam with non-slip matting
