My proto type. Two booms over head height. One for my Iota battery mantainer. One for my pico and leads. Holds most of my more common electrical test equipment. If I need to make a mobile call it can all be broken down and organized quickly to jet and then back again.

Alright everyone, I present to you the Busjockey 8 Channel Super Scope!   Cheesy
I give credit to Mike Flach for the name. Smiley Grin

Hello Mr. Busjockey,
I see you have 2 USB cables connected to one lap top PC and am wondering what kind of patterns you can obtain with this setup?  In other words, are you able to sync the 2 scopes together to have 8 different (or 7) channels visible on your PC screen?  Have you, by chance, posted any captures I can see with your Super Scope?  If you could direct me to them, I would love to see them.
Thank you for your time,
Doug S.

Hi Doug

Hi Mick,
It does look as it is possible to sync 2 Pico Scopes together but can be a bit challenging from what I am seeing.  Am I correct in that statement?  Is this setup difficult to get them to work together?
Thanks for your time,
DougS

Mick has more experience in this area than me but from what I have done so far and for what Mick has shown me it can be done.  Smiley

As for being difficult to set up it does take a little more time to set up but hey your setting up 8 channels  Smiley.  I figure if your hooking up 8 channels you got either a real problem child or you need 8 channels to help you diagnose faster in the long run once you are set up. Smiley

I met one of our clients to drop off his order back in October. He used a similar setup to hold his scope and tablet when he works on forklifts and other industrial equipment. He clamped it onto the safety roll cage or something else that is sturdy.

I was bored so I tested it out on my bike this weekend.

Wow, it's been great to stumble across this thread,

I really think I'm going to come up with a boom-type addition to my diagnostic toolbox, looks very practical.

The best part of this thread was scrolling back to page 1. Posts from 2004, back when I was a 16-year-old kid.

That is the beauty of maintaining the archive, learning from and being inspired by the experiences of others.

When your boom is built post some pictures so someone else might benefit. Smiley
