Okay, I'll bite?? maybe electricity is different in NZ, ;D but doubt it.
Would you still not have this in a waste fire system?? the other plug is not grounded??, or is this actual spark event happening in the system, as you did not state what, where, or whom. If this being the case doubt it will be happening for long, highly destructive. Also some serious noise on blue channel, cranking vacuum on next event, just a thought. I am semi retired but get bored so lurk every morning here to pick stuff apart, I enjoy it, great players, some bright minds, well, Spence is here so need to make exceptions ;D :D. You were wearing your mask when you did all of this weren't you??, had to ask? Also noticed most event were on the climb at the end of burn, probably lean. Larry |

I actually want to post something (with details) but my images are too small, haven't worked out why?

Okay, now it makes sense, you know (I come from a land down under) :-/, so your images would be down and not up, right. 8-) That said, did not say what channel C (green) is hooked up too but notice the KV line is to the negative on # 3 fire, but not on any of the others. Maybe this is normal when grounding a plug, have never payed attention. I tend to glean a lot of information from noise and normal signatures on other channels that is valuable but not the intent of that channel, such as the ticks that take place every time an injector or firing event takes place which can be used as RPM. What does the coil pack look like on this unit, or maybe I'm the only guy dumb enough to respond to an obvious known answer, or maybe not? I've been called stupid before, I'm a big boy, I can handle it. :'( Does this unit have wires, or COP, I know FO, but not much else. Can see the firing event is a longer time of the others, and the scope does not lie, this event is happening, interesting. Larry |
