Ive currently got a Hantek 3064 which has served me well but ive just had the opportunity of a new pico 4424 scope kit for approx 740USD delivered. I realise that this is a older scope but my question is do you think the price is about right and would it be better/worse than my dso3064. I think i know the answer but would like some comments from pico4424 owners.

Yes, it will way outperform it.

What is your intended use? I would not recommend this one for automotive. It will not work with the automotive software and does not have the protections built into the automotive version 4423.

It was for automotive use so ill not bother then. Many thanks for your help tom.
