Title: SMOG/DIAGNOSTIC TECH-VENTURA CA.
Post by Jamey on Mar 4th, 2015 at 8:57am
I would be interested in interviewing a diagnostic
technician, who is Star certified, if you would like to work
in a shop that has factory tooling, and diagnostic equipment
to diagnose late model vehicles, and you are not afraid to
diagnose the vehicle that has been to several shops and did
not get repaired, if you use diagnostics and not guessing to
determine what is wrong, I would like to talk to you. If you
have a clean driving record, drug free, clean cut, and
professional, I would like to talk to you!

We work on foreign and domestic vehicles, the shop has been
in business since 1968, we don't advertise or offer coupons,
we have no free inspections, we charge for services, and we
steer away the cheap skates to other shops!

We have a Tech II, IDS, Ross Vag, Tech Stream, Wi-Tech,
Master Tech, I-scanII/wt, Pico Scope, All Data, Identifix,
Tech Authority, and just about all the needed testers and
tools to diagnose today's vehicles!

I am not looking for a beginner, I am looking for a guy who
is working at a shop, making good money, but wishing he had
a better opportunity!

You can send me an email or call me at 805-642-4818

Good luck on your search Jamey, the tech you're looking for may be difficult to come upon.

No, I'm from NorCal, it would be sacrilege to work in SoCal.

I don't think I will find the technician I am looking for, it is difficult to find a true diagnostic technician, most are working somewhere and happy, I either need a good diagnostic tech, so I can run the shop, or I need a good service writer so I can diagnose without answering phones, dealing with customers, and service writing for 3 technicians all at the same time, I make it work, but it gets a little crazy from time to time! I really don't like service writers..... But

Preston , maybe you should rethink that whole SoCal thing  ;D

Congratulations on the new house. I would hate for you to move back to California anyway, Florida has no tax, California has the highest.... I would stay put
