Post by crackerclicker on Jun 30th, 2014 at 5:00pm
AutoEnginuity Scantool with Domestic and Asian Region software 12.1.1 version.  Software updates free until October 2014.  Details here:  http://www.autoenginuity.com/products/oe-coverage-options.html

European Software is optional, and available at www.autoenginuity.com or www.aeswave.com

Will transfer ownership/registration after sale.  $700 + shipping (I prefer USPS Flat rate boxes, so roughly $10)

Just curious, why are you selling? I'm sort of on the fence as to just paying through the nose for another Modis update, or buying AE. Thanks!

It's not my cup o' tea.  It has good coverage, bi-directional controls, and special tests, and there are people that love it, but I simply don't like the way it works.  As you can tell, I'm not a good salesman  ;D.  I will say it would complement Snappy's coverage nicely in the bi-directional control department, though.

Thanks! I wish I could test drive one. :'( That would help me make my mind up.

I have one and can say it is a good tool.  Like any non OEM tool, it has features that won't be quite right, but all in all it is good.  Excelent customer support, and yearly updates are inexpensive. You can put it on as many machines as you want, but you can only use one at a time.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. Is it user friendly, I mean pretty intuitive to use?

It is, but it isn't.  For example, Chryslers will have a LOT of PIDS.  So much so that you can go blind trying to find the exact one(s) you're looking for.  However, that same list of Chryco PIDS is more than you'll get from just about any other aftermarket scantool, I'd wager.

I just started a new job this week, but if I can scrounge up some extra time I'll make a video using it on my wife's Jeep.

Hi Larry,

I sent you a PM.  You should see a notification at the top of the page after you login.  It is directly below the date & time bar, and to the farthest left of the Autonerdz logo.
