Tom,

The selection of the last 25 messages no longer allows one to log in to see what has been posted in the last 24 hours.

The post frequency appears to be greater.

Not sure I understand the question.

The last 24 posts does not have a time frame. 25 is the max and those may all be within 24 hours or cover a longer time, depending on how busy it is here.

I can increase that number of posts I think.

Tom I see Logic's point and kinda have the same issue. Just so happens at times you'll see more then 25 posts since the last time someone was logged on in less then a day. I have gone down to the bottom right where it says "forum jump" to find the last 10 topics.

Point is at times I have missed a whole bunch because I don't remember which forum something was in and it was a bitch to locate.

If it doesn't hurt I would crank it up. Another forum I visit has "view new posts" which will show you all posts sice your last visit even if it was a month ago. Kinda lets you pick up from where you left. If you don't wish then you just click view latest posts.

just checked out the change to 50.

I report that it's twice as good as 25

Not sure what the average statistic is...Posting traffic varies but these boards become more and more busy every day ;)

Not sure how high I can turn that up, but just let me know if you need more...

How about marking an interesting topic to "get notification" then when you log in you will notified if there is a new post to that topic?

And any new posts to any forum will have the "new" notification in front of the title of the post.

The modification to see the last 50 posts is working beautifully.

I also like the option on logging in to remain logged in until the browser is closed.

I don't close my browser, so I remain logged in....that suits me just fine...

What do you drink Tom?

Dunno about you guys but I always set topics to get notifications via email, whether it be on a specific thread or a new board post. My email can get a bit busy at times, and it is daunting trying to be back to level if I take a few days "off", but I just can't stand missing out on anything! :D

Scroll to the bottom of the forum page there is a box for Forum Statistics, in that box there is an option box to view 10 to 50 of the latest posts.
