Title: 2008 Chevrolet Optra ABS
Post by shay1 on Mar 6th, 2011 at 10:21am
Hi
I have problem with 2008 Chevrolet Optra\Nubira:  One per month this car come to my garage with DTC C0035 (Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit).
I change:
1.LF Speed Sensor
2. I change wiring from WSS to ABS module
3.EBCM module
OEM parts.
I check:
1.LF WSS waveforms (look good Like the other) no RF
2.RR WSS check with the scan tool look good.
3. check all tire profile and tire pressure look good.
4. I drive with scan tool (tech 2) and look on 4 WSS PID look good.
Is someone have same idea  :-? :-?

Thanks
shay

are these cars subject to rust jacking?  check where the sensor mounts.  if rust has built up under the mounting point, clean it and retest.

Maybe an idea to swap the wiring from the NSF & OSF wheel speed sensors over & see if the fault follows the sensor or remains with the controller.

A road test with Pico connected to each front sensor might reveal something too. I have no knowledge of this vehicle, but if it is an old style analogue (passive) sensor, then I wouldn't rely on spinning the wheel by hand, to make a judgement.

Can you post some waveforms?
