Title: customizing channel menus
Post by Brad H on Sep 17th, 2009 at 6:59pm
G'day guys,

I'm using the 4423 scope.
What's the procedure to saving "-3...9kv" or any other kv settings in each of the drop down channel menus so I don't have to go into the automotive section to set it ?

Hi Brad,

It's best to get away from the automotive menu as soon as you can learn to set up manually.  The automotive menu presets are not optimized for good performance with your 4423.

To get the KV selections in a channel, select one of the secondary custom probes using the channel options button for that channel.  There are two secondary probes, one inverted and one positive.

This will give you three KV ranges in the built in custom probe for the channel.  If you want more, duplicate that into your custom probes library.  Then you can edit it and create other ranges.

We have a tutorial movie detailing the custom probes creation and management, as well as many hours more covering PicoScope in depth.  These are only one part of the Autonerdz comprehensive PicoScope training and support package.  This would really turbocharge your PicoScope learning curve.

Just email me, if you would like more information on subscribing.  We have a modest discount for overseas users.

And nicely done as well.

You know... if you think about it, other products require you to purchase training for the tools and don't give you any technical support.

So while buying the  support package is well worth the price, getting it thrown in for free if you buy your pico here is pretty special
