speaking about crank/cam synch.
what is negative zero crossing mean?
particularly, moving from "what side" going to "what side" of the zero line?

Sam,

Think of it like negative trigger.  Crossing zero going from positive to negative.  Direction negative going.

Remember that zero volts on the screen may not be zero on the sensor if you are working with a floating ground sensor.  More on this in your Nerd Series CD set.   ;)
