Here is a capture of snap KV and primary current from a Ford V8 351 with TFI 4 ignition:

Right click on the movie for the controls menu.
A PicoScope ADC 212/50 was used for this capture. Save on trigger was used to capture several of these automatically by setting the trigger for the high KV snap and then just sitting in the drivers seat mashing the throttle a few times.
