Nerd II was excellent Tom. We’re looking forward to next month. Just leave the weather at home this time please. ::)

Ok, John.  I'll leave that cold stuff behind next time  :P

I did like bringing the warm weather back here though.  Good trade for me.  We have been breaking records all week.  Temps in the 60s  ;D

Here is the graduating class picture:

Left to right:  Paul Smith, Doug Wend, Mike Parada, Jeff Lineberry, Steve Johnson, Greg Cole, David Strickland, Steve McCormick, John Thompson, Rob Arnold.

If you see any of these Nerdz in the wild

Approach with caution

They use LSD (Lab Scope Diagnostics)

Special thanks to Greg Cole of Apex AutoWorks for providing his fine facility for the training sessions.  And to Larry Flowers for acting as promoter for the sponsoring Southeastern Automotive Tech Group.  And also to John Thompson, for babysitting me and providing ground logistical support.  And to all the great techs that spent their Saturdays in class and made it great.  The students make the class.   ;D

I am sooo spoiled now.  That North Carolina hospitality is really something.   8)

Tom,
Are you ever in the Chicago area?
Bob  :)

Hi Bob,

I am in Chicago often...at O'Hare or Midway airports  ::)

Anyone can play promoter though and make a class happen.  The promoter arranges for the location, sets the attendance fees and collects them, and helps me with ground support, etc.

It's a lot of work to organize a class, but often the promoter is very well compensated for the effort.

I can email you the Promopack on request.  This explains more details, has a sample contract and more.

Bob,
It's really worth the effort if you can organize enough guys to have Tom come in. IMHO,whether you are new to scoping or have been at it for a long time the Nerdz series is really thought provoking and excellent training. Tom does a great job and I'm really glad to have been in the class. Besides, you get those chick magnet glasses  :o

Hi John,

Could you e-mail the promopack and let me know any details like when you are crossing the country so that we might share air-fare with someone

Thanks
Bob
