Title: Scope training Post by hwy7 on Apr 18th, 2014 at 2:53am
I have been thinking about purchasing a pico scope with all the trimmings. I have a scope on a pegisys scan tool and hate it and mainly because I don't know what I am doing. I need something and maybe someone to hold my hand to get me going. I recognize the importance of scopes in the aid of diagnostics and I want to utilize one badly but I need to know what I am doing first. Any suggestions.

Well you definitely found the right place, that's for sure. Plus, if you buy your scope from the Nerdz boys, you will have support for life from them, plus the assistance from the great collection of members on this very site.
How is your grasp of electrical theory and operation? How electrical motors, solenoids, coils, etc. operate? It is imperative that you at least have a solid basic understanding in order to fully grasp all that the scope tells you. I don't see in your profile in what country and area you are located. With so many nerdz out there, I wonder if there isn't one close to you that wouldn't mind showing you some live action training. By chance do you live in Florida? Just waking up, so let me do some more thinking and see what I can find on training. Oh yeah, the Nerdz series on CD or USB is always worth eight times it's weight in gold when it comes to training. |
