Title: D.C.T.I. Pressure Transducers
Post by RtOne on Aug 10th, 2012 at 7:59am
Me Thinks one of mine took the dump. I'm not seeing them offered in the store. Is there a known source for replacements? I really want the WPS but hate to give up otherwise good equipment.  I actually think these were Cranking, not at idle.

Lew,

We don't carry the DCTI anymore.  Not because it was not a good thing.  It was.  Sales just didn't support carrying them anymore as the WPS popularity increased.

But, we can certainly get you taken care of.  Send us the funky sensor for testing and we will arrange a replacement if needed.

Well Tom and Brian, I did it again! :-[   Pushed the Panic Button too quickly. It seems, that when I had installed the NEW Battery in the D.C.T.I. Unit and turned it on long enough to get the battery hot, I also drained it just enough to cause my very own intermittent problem. When I went to use the good (Working at the time when I got the above captures from an older Dodge) Transducer, on a Saturn today, it was doing the same thing as the one I had condemned, so out of curiosity I replaced the Battery, now that Brian Fixed the unit and sent it back, and both sensors are working fine again.  Will I ever learn to check closer first, before getting down in the dumps and whining to you? :'(   Odd, one worked with a low battery and one got Flaky, early on, "Or is it ME" :D!

Thanks again
