Title: G'Day from down under.
Post by nobbyclrk on May 8th, 2009 at 3:41am
Just thought I'd should say Hi! to all and a bit of an introduction. Afterall I've using this site daily for the last year or so. Born in England, raised in Scotland. Left school at 16 and worked as a logger in forestry until about 28. At 30 I arrived in this great southern land. Where I changed trade and started my apprenticeship as a mechanic (never even changed an oil filter before). Four years later, apprentiship completed, I got a job paid contract style (common I think in the U.S.A but unusual here). Then another four years later I headed for New Zealand. Working contact again. That was a bit of automotive shock. New Zealand having more variety's of vehicles than anywhere else. Also the technology, in vehicles not seen in Australia (GDi, lean burn engines), took me by surprise. There I was introduced to LSD by a guy called Herbert Leijen of AECS. Two years later (six months ago) with new Picoscope in tow, I'm back at my old contract job in OZ.  Next...Who knows. But I want to hone my LSD skills. With Herberts courses and Tom's excellent Nerd seris CD's, I have gained so many diagnotics skills that have left others working on their bald spots. Love it! Give me more.

Wow! That got a bit long........ The End!
