Title: Firstlook sensor for sale
Post by Earl Davis on Mar 24th, 2009 at 1:08pm
I am selling this firstlook sensor because I do not use it. I purchased from Tom about ten months ago and it may have been used four or five times. Most of those were on known good engines. If interested just post a reply and I will respond

Thanks
Earl

Earl

Could you hook it up to the Pico for me and do a suck test on it.

I have this gif for you to see there are 2 of them in my lips and I sucked on then gently The both of them went down first on the screen.

Does yours?

How much do you need?

Is it ok to use a vacuum gauge for your test?

Hi Iurii

Tom and Carl taught us how to make those custom ranges in the Pico group area and on the monthly nerdz nights.

Earl,

Just a friendly suggestion... your pics would be much easier to view if you resize them before uploading.  1024x768 is a good size for most.  Makes them load up faster too because the file size also is reduced.

Iuri,

On the PSI ranges.....Custom probes can be created for any pressure transducer to read out in PSI, KPA, vacuum, or whatever.  Not useful for the FirstLook though, since it is not a transducer.  There is no correlation between the FLS and pressure.  The FLS responds strictly on the amount of change and the speed of the change in pressure.  Any steady state results in a zero output and voltage has no relation to pressure.

Mick's channel C range is probable the one we have for the Fluke PV350 transducer.  FLSs on A and B.

Tom,

Remember I was completely computer illiterate before I got here so thinks for the suggestion.

I have resized so here is a new picture if I did it right.
