Title: various file format
Post by Sam1 on Feb 1st, 2009 at 10:39pm
Hi
I am running v6, at startup I must choose between 34xx or 32xx, 212/x...
some of the files posted here are for one version or another, how can I change over from one setup to another without having to close / reopen the program?

Sam,
Version 6 is what most of us are using, when you open Picoscope 6 and you do NOT have your hardware plugged in you are asked about demo mode, 34xx, 32xx and 212/x are different scopes.  My suggestion would be to use 3423 this is a four channel Pico scope.  This will allow you to view most of the files posted in the forums.

#12
97_honda_civic_inj_2.psd (76 KB | 20  )

and it is asking to update to a later version to open the files attached to #3 and #8 of the same thread.
so I am downloading PicoScope6Automotive_r6_2_0.exe from picotech, should I uninstall the old version before installing the new?

You can install Pico 5 from the pico site this should open the file.  Pico 5 and Pico 6 can be installed on the same computer, this is what I have done.

If you are updating you should not have to uninstall the old, however if you are going to install a beta test version I would uninstall first.
