Static resistance can be quite misleading. Most circuits are best tested under load while monitoring voltage and amperage.
Just look at coil testing using resistance specs. That's a completely useless procedure for coil testing.
When you monitor circuits under dynamic operating conditions, using viltage and amperage, you can easily see resistance problems in a circuit and identify where they are. Dynamic voltage drop, if you will. Like Carl said.
What would you test by graphing static resistance?
