Hi Andrew,
I am not that familiar with the ADC 100. The Automotive kit contains the ADC 212/3, which is a much more capable unit with its 32k buffer and 3mhz max speed. The ADC 100 has a 100khz max speed and no buffer.
I suggest you post this on the Pico Technology forum linked below for some input from the Pico crew.
