I specialize in the automotive applications. Specifically, the Pico Automotive kit which uses the ADC 212/3 unit. I am not familiar with the ADC 100 and have had no similar reports with the ADC 212/3.
I suggest you post this to the main Pico Technology Forum linked below and have the Pico support team give you some ideas. They are very helpful and will see you through to a resolution.
