Thanks for the response.
Yes ... both leads had solid, clean grounds.
Perhaps it was a " one off " occurrence.
I normally use my big box scope for secondary
analysis but in this particular instance I decided
to use the Pico for waveform capture for addition
to my data base and also to show an apprentice
some effects on KV and spark burn time.
I need to verify that this USB port loss occurrence
will happen again before posting to the Pico site.
Just another thing to add to the list I'm compiling
if this does indeed recur.
