The K110 MicroProbe is designed to measure very low currents with 50µADC sensitivity.
Features
The K110 is equipped with banana type connectors that cannot be plugged directly into the PicoScope. We recommend using one of your standard test leads or the MI078 BNC to Banana adapter (included in all Autonerdz PicoScope kits).

The MI078 can be found on our Miscellaneous Components Page
2009 Mazda Miata
Here we have the K110 measuring current from the Air/Fuel ratio sensor (blue)
and mass air flow sensor output voltage (red)

Notice the very small current range of the air/fuel ratio sensor (approximately -1.5mA to +1.5 mA).
Previously, this type of measurement was only possible with a DVOM or Graphing Multimeter connected in series to the circuit.
2007 Ford Escape
The K110 is measuring the current from the right front wheel speed sensor.
Blue: Current
Red: Voltage

We are starting to see these current based wheel speed sensors quite often.
As you can see, the voltage trace doesn’t hold much diagnostic value.
It’s the current trace that will give us the information we need.
This sensor had a cracked tone ring.
The ability to accurately measure such small currents can be very valuable, especially at those times when the service information test procedure reads
“replace with known good part and retest”.
