just had a thought  Smiley

if anyone can remember (I think) version 5, every screen had the computer time so as we scrolled through the WF it showed the real time of the capture.

Now if this could be done again, we can save one pattern as a reference then line it up against another running scope ( not sure if I explained that right?)

Yeah.  That's currently possible to adjust the delay on a reference waveform to sync up with another capture.

Here is a CKP from two different scopes running at the same time.  One is a reference with a delay so they overlay perfectly.

Tom I think another picture with them split apart a bit might help explain what you are saying. You have it lined up so great it looks like only one trace is there.

Here ya go.

This is a capture we viewed in last month's Group Therapy when we were discussing floating ground VRS capture techniques.

File available in our cloud Group Therapy folder 06_18_2015/EDIS CKP Shorted.

This is actually a math channel from one capture and a CKP ref from another.

I would attach the file but not in the Public boards....
