PicoScope Hands-on Class May 2014
Mar 10th, 2014 at 3:27pm

We will be having another hands-on PicoScope class at the Autonerdz training center on Friday May 9, 2014.

This will be a 6 hour session from 9AM till 3PM.  We will be having a lecture/demonstration part followed by an on vehicle practice session.  We have two test stations for live vehicle practice.

Registration and Picogroup membership is required and class size is limited so be sure to register early. Registration closes three days before the class date.

You can register online here:

http://www.autonerdz.com/registrationform.htm

Bring your laptop and your PicoScope with you, as we will be using them all together in the lecture/demonstration part.  You just need two test leads and small alligator clips.

For our Picogroup members, this is a free class.  This is yet another benefit of the Autonerdz Picogroup support and training package.  We only suggest a small $20 donation to help cover the food and refreshments.

Those who wish to attend this session, who are not Picogroup members, will need to subscribe to the service and join the group.  The cost is $650 annually.  Of course, this will also plug you into all the other benefits of membership and allow you to attend future classes over the year free of charge.  As you know, purchasing an Autonerdz PicoScope package from us, or one of our affiliates in the US and Canada, will enroll you in the Picogroup at no additional charge and will not require annual renewal.

Here is a map from the Guest House Inn which is just off I-5 Exit 101.  For those of you from out of the area, this is a great place to stay.  You can call the Guesthouse Inn at 360-943-5040 for reservations.

Hey Tom, I'm having a brainstorm here so bare with me.  Do you think there could be any way to get the local transit authority in your area to let you either do a class on property with a bus or have them bring the bus to you?  I know Diesel is not your area but I think it would be cool to try.  If you would like maybe I could come out to Washington and meet with Jim Davis and we could all brain storm together and figure out a way to do this training not only in Washington, but in my State too.  What do you think?  Maybe we could make some videos of using the picoscope on Transit buses and show them to other transit properties.  I think this would be a win win situation for everyone.  You get the  exposure for the pico scope and other Transit Authorities will get some training from the videos.  Which will hopefully entice them to learn more.  Obviously this will take a lot of time and work, but I am willing to volunteer my time if you'd like.

Mike,

Jim Davis would be more qualified than I would.  Maybe you two should hook up.   Wink

I spent some time up there at the bus shop with the day and night shifts long ago when they were looking at scopes to accomplish tasks with the busses.  I was really out of my element there but Jim was a huge help and together we figured out a lot of stuff in the short time we had.

Cummins engines with CD ignition systems running on CNG.
