Yes.  The Picogroup resources are intended for the original user and not transferable.

I just thought I would add the reasoning behind this policy.

The extensive resources are provided to Picogroup members free of charge if they purchased the kit from us or were assigned as the Picogroup beneficiary by the original purchaser.  The cost of these benefits is provided through equipment sales and subscriptions.  I can’t imagine why anyone would sell their PicoScope, unless they were upgrading, but it happens.  When it does, that sale provides no resources to Autonerdz with which to fund the Picogroup benefits.  As a one off event, this may seem unreasonable to deny a transfer, but when you consider that this may happen many times then I think you can see what the end result would be.  To be fair to everyone, we have the policy so that those who did support us by purchasing a kit from Autonerdz can continue to enjoy the benefits.

I’m not saying that there have never been any exceptions to this policy but we do our best to apply it in all situations.  The situation has to be unique and extreme for an exception.  One exception I can recall is a college that purchased a scope kit and the instructor that was the Picogroup beneficiary passed away.  Out of respect for him, we did transfer his benefits to another instructor. 
Those who subscribe, fund their subscriptions each year by renewing.  Those who purchased a kit from us are not required to renew.  That does not mean that Picogroup resources access is lifetime.

Picogroup Resources Access Policy:

Picogroup resources access is included with any Autonerdz kit package and is also available by annual subscription.  These resources are for the original user only and not transferable. 

Access to these resources is a privilege and can be revoked at anytime for any reason.   These reasons include but are not limited to the following:

Your subscription has lapsed.

You opted out

You no longer own the PicoScope equipment you purchased from Autonerdz.

You support a competing vendor by any means paid or unpaid.

You choose to upgrade or purchase another PicoScope from another vendor.

You in any way publish or share Picogroup content without written permission from Autonerdz.

That's for those that pay to subscribe having purchased a PicoScope from another vendor.  Those subscriptions must be renewed annually.
